Macro Photography with the Fujifilm MCEX-11

Right outside our front door, nestled among the garden greenery, stands a heavenly bamboo that, in all honesty, I’m not very fond of. Every dog (or plant) has it’s day I suppose, so one afternoon, following a gentle afternoon shower, each leaf of this bamboo cradled tiny, glistening water droplets.

On a whim, I attached the XF50mm f2 lens to a MCEX-11 macro extension tube. Although it's not a true 1:1 macro setup, it's surprisingly effective for such intimate encounters.
