A Photographer's Afternoon in Ocean City

A few photos from a trip to Ocean City on a warm Sunday afternoon. “Photograph during golden hour” is a piece of advice that you will often hear when beginning this hobby. While I disagree to some extent for reasons I might elaborate on at a later date, there is no denying that there is something special about that soft golden light. It might just be me, but I think something special happens with light at the beach too. I don’t have any science to back that claim up, it’s just a feeling. All images were taken with my Fujifilm X-H2s and the “magical” XF35mm f 1.4 lens.
